Concept & layout

Within the concept, all-year-round operation is intended, split into day and night (night session) operation. The total system is divided into 15 main units which are clearly definable thematically or functionally and which are composed of subunits. Care was taken to ensure that individual institutions could, if required, be merged to form larger units (for special events).

The visitor undertakes a journey to countries and regions in all five continents and from widely different ages. In addition to special topics which have general relevance (“Pleasure and Mobility” or the “World of Wine”), three major event locations are specified as independent topic areas, whereby the hotel will operate totally independently. The museums’ attractions, shows, rides (gentle), events or gastronomical institutions, mainly in the traditional sequence of pre-show, main show and post-show, always serve the recurring theme of “World trip through time to the kingdom of pleasures”.
The provision of sufficiently large areas for operation, such as parking places, administration, workshops, supply and disposal and amenities rooms also rounds off the park layout from an operational point of view.
